Empowering Small Businesses Through Partnership
Ian Checcio
A Message from DOMA’s Chief Relationship Officer
At DOMA Technologies, partnering with small businesses is at the core of our mission to address and achieve client objectives.
This commitment runs deep, as we understand firsthand the challenges of growing a small business—having experienced them ourselves. In my 21 years with DOMA, I’ve seen the profound impact that partnerships can have in driving success.
We recognize both the hurdles small businesses face—whether operational or strategic—and the resilience required to overcome them.
At the same time, we value the unique strengths and innovative solutions these businesses contribute, often complementing DOMA’s own capabilities. We truly appreciate the opportunity to work alongside you and grow together.
Thank you for your interest.

Mentor Protégé
The Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to improve the performance of contracts and subcontracts, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between large prime contractors and small business subcontractors, and increase subcontracting opportunities and accomplishments.
Joint Venture
A joint venture is a business structure where two or more businesses pool their resources to compete for government contracts. Joint ventures can be a strategic way for small businesses to participate in government contracting, and can also be beneficial for larger businesses. A joint venture can also bid on contracts for service-disabled veterans, women, or HUBZone businesses if a member of the joint venture meets the requirements.
Traditional Teaming
Traditional teaming agreements, or teaming arrangements, are temporary partnerships between two or more independent companies that come together to pursue a competitive bid for a federal contract. This collaboration allows businesses to leverage their combined skills, expertise, and resources to meet the government’s requirements effectively.
